✅ Hope for Cancer Patients in India
In countries like India, cancer patients face huge challenges in accessing the advanced affordable therapies like cell & gene therapy. For instance, there are about 250,000 Lymphoma & Leukemia cases in India and about 30% of these cases are relapsed & refractory—meaning that these 73,000 patients have exhausted all available treatment options.
Now, the Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy with upto 60-80% complete remission, offers hope to these patients as Cell-based therapies, particularly CAR-T therapies, have emerged as promising treatments for various cancers and autoimmune diseases. However, less than 1% of these patients have received CART therapy since its approval in India. So, there is a huge demand-supply gap that Thrafford aims to bridge.
